This song reminds me a lot about Moomin, the 90s anime especially. As a Finnish person I find that a good thing. I think it's the combination of the instruments chosen and the lighthearted melody elevating the sounds. May I ask what soundfonts did you end up using on the song? They kind of remind of N64 era instruments, especially the little arp at 0:20.
If I had to give any sort of criticism, I would say that I find the vocal samples sprinkled into the song a tad unfitting. But alas, they're used so sparingly that they aren't a real problem or anything.

All in all, this is a song I could very well hear being used in a show of some sorts, maybe even a game. You've shown a good understanding of simple yet effective composition and I respect the skills shown on display. Have a good day and keep on composing.

Many thanks for the kind words!!!! The Ocarina of Time soundfont was used predominantly for this track, and Clock Town was a huge inspiration for it + the in-game location this track would show up in.

The vocal samples thrown in were mainly to help keep it more in-line with the other tracks of the game's soundtrack this track is in, and the "hit it!" sample at the start is actually kind of my signature (it shows up in almost every track I put out these days)

A digital artist and music producer from Finland. Bit of an odd fellow, but I manage.
